Job Title: Front end developerJob Location: Charlotte NC (Onsite)Duration: 8 monthsPayrate: $60.00 - 65.06/hr Description: Local resource only in Charlotte, NC (Uptown). This specific role is required to be fulfilled on-site 5 days a week Front end developer with experience to produce scalable software solutions as part of a cross-functional team responsible for application development from conception to deployment. Additionally, this role will need to have prior experience in developing WCAG 2.2 and/or Section 508 compliance guidelines, identifying and remediating accessibility failures identified in code and testing against accessibility compliance with both automated and manual testing tools Responsibilities include: Interface with engineering leads to defining requirements, deliverables, and providing the necessary engineering expertise support to ensure delivery. Partner with cybersecurity architects and lines of business architects to drive the strategic IAM architecture Able to prototype new technologies and work with vendors to implement new capabilities/enhancements Work with the team or as an individual contributor to perform analysis, design, development and testing of solutions to meet requirements. Work in a consulting role with line of business technology partners to provide subject matter expertise as needed for various projects Work under minimal supervision and be able to self-manage workload and ensure delivery of solutions Required Skills: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or a related field with 7+ years of experience in Information Technology 5+ years of front-end experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular) Familiarity with browser testing and debugging Ability to provide solutions based on industry standard frameworks/platforms like Spring MVC, NodeJS, React, Angular, etc. Understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility issues and how to resolve them Strong understanding of Section 508 and/or WCAG 2.2 guidelines for building accessible products Experience in Identity Access Management (IAM) technologies including OAuth2/OIDC, MFA, FIDO, Single Sign-On, federation, Digital Certificates, and LDAP. Skilled in using SDLC tools such as JIRA, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, SOAPUI, Postman, etc. Knowledge in security protocols, cryptography, and HSM Ability to coordinate and support large complex projects including product upgrades and deployment of new capabilities and enhancements. Collaborate with backend developers to improve usability Experience in delivering full-life cycle projects Strong analytical skills to solve problems, perform research and derive solution opportunities Strong written and oral communications skill Experience in Agile development methodologies Desired Skills: Experience in secure programming practices Experience in IAM platforms, such as Ping Federate, Ping Access, Okta Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker Strong skills in web design EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
