Senior Estimator - Heavy Civil ConstructionLocation: Scottsdale, Arizona Salary: $145,000 - $160,000 + Vehicle Allowance + Bonus + Full Benefits Type: Full-Time | Permanent Are you ready to lead estimates on some of the most ambitious heavy civil infrastructure projects in the U.S.? Why You'll Love This Role Highly competitive base salary: $145K-$160K (DOE) Performance bonuses Vehicle allowance Paid relocation assistance Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance (low premiums) 401(k) with up to 5% company match Tuition reimbursement & development funding 15+ days PTO + 8 holidays Supportive team culture + work-life balance focus Employee wellness & mental health resources Family-like culture with real career growth pathways Meaningful work on projects that impact communities nationwide What You'll Be Doing Lead full-cycle estimating on complex, multi-million-dollar heavy civil bids Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, scope analysis, and cost estimates Evaluate subcontractor bids and supplier quotes Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients Support preconstruction planning, value engineering, and post-bid buyouts Participate in bid presentations and stakeholder meetings What You Bring 5-10 years of estimating experience on heavy civil projects ($10M+) Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar Expertise with HCSS HeavyBid and Microsoft Office Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Carlson, or similar software (a plus) Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills Background working for a heavy civil GC or contractor is essential Project Types Include: Freeways, bridges, highways Mass transit & rail Dams, water infrastructure Civil works & public infrastructure Projects typically range from $20M to $5B+ across Arizona and the U.S. • Candidate Criteria Must have estimating experience with a heavy civil general contractor Public works experience preferred (DOT, city, county, infrastructure agencies) EPC/Owner-side experience alone will not be considered U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or Canadian TN visa candidates welcome Relocation support available for the right applicant Are you ready to take the next step in your civil estimating career?
