Our engineering consultancy client is currently seeking a Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing structures that can withstand stresses and pressures from both human use and environmental conditions. This role involves developing structural concepts, producing engineering deliverables, overseeing drawing production, and ensuring the structural integrity and safety of foundations, buildings, and equipment support systems. This company provides full-service engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCm) solutions to industrial process manufacturers across the nation. Their expertise spans pulp & paper, chemical, consumer packaged goods, food & beverage, power, and heavy industrial markets. This job will have the following responsibilities: Prepare engineering reports, design criteria, estimates, drawings, and detailed design documents. Perform structural calculations related to loads, pressures, and stresses. Provide technical guidance on safe structural designs and construction practices. Obtain required planning and building regulation approvals. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders. Monitor and inspect contractor work to ensure structural soundness and compliance. Administer small subcontracts and support management of structural-related projects. Evaluate geotechnical properties to determine appropriate foundation and structural solutions. Utilize computer-aided design tools and simulation software to support analysis and design. Qualifications & Requirements: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 3+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer. Experience in industrial structural engineering. Proficiency with STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit. Experience working with steel, concrete, and masonry design. Background in heavy-to-light industrial projects. Experience with rotating equipment and vibration analysis. Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable regulations. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. #JDP
