Maintenance Technician

Job Full Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician Pay: $20 - $23 per hour, based on experience We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support residential properties including condos, townhomes, and vacation homes along the Gulf Coast. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality work, responds well to service requests, and understands the fast-paced needs of property management and short-term rentals. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs for residential properties (condos, townhomes, vacation homes) Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC (basic), appliances, and fixtures Complete preventative maintenance and property inspections Prepare units for guest arrivals and owner occupancy (turnovers, punch lists) Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls as needed Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and contractors Maintain accurate service records and inventory of tools and materials Ensure all work meets safety standards and company expectations Qualifications 2+ years of maintenance or property management experience preferred Strong skills in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall) Basic HVAC knowledge a plus Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Comfortable working in occupied and vacant properties Strong communication and customer service skills Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position May include weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations Outdoor and indoor work in coastal environments ?
