Maintenance Technician / Industrial Electrician Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour Schedule Options: 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM (Will train on the 1st shift) 4 - 10-hour days 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM (5 days per week) 2nd shift available too! Job Summary Wabtec is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support industrial manufacturing operations by performing electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment. This role focuses heavily on electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, motors, drives, and 480V systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V (3-phase) Diagnose and repair motors, VFDs, drives, and control systems Install, wire, and maintain conduit, lighting, and electrical infrastructure Troubleshoot and support PLC-controlled equipment Perform electrical installations for new equipment and machine moves Maintain HVAC, lighting, and general facility electrical systems Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO) and safety procedures Use PPE and report safety hazards immediately Required Qualifications Experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Electrician, or Electrical Maintenance Technician Strong working knowledge of 480V 3-phase electrical systems Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motor drives, and conduit installation Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems Manufacturing or industrial maintenance background required Electrical schooling, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred High School Diploma or GED required Preferred Experience (Nice to Have) Melting, molding, or heavy industrial manufacturing environment Experience with machine installations and equipment upgrades Pay & Benefits $32.00 - $35.00/hour , based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Uniform allowance All tools and supplies provided Work Environment & Physical Requirements Industrial manufacturing environment Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working around machinery Must be able to meet physical demands and safety requirements Apply Now If you're a skilled Maintenance Technician or Industrial Electrician seeking stability, competitive pay, and strong benefits , apply today.
