Skill: SAP EWM Location: Normal, IL (Onsite 4-5 days required) Rate: $100-$105 Looking for an experienced (12+ years) SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant to support an automotive customer's warehouse and logistics operations at the Normal, IL manufacturing facility. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting end-to-end warehouse management processes integrated with SAP S/4HANA and SAP logistics modules. This role plays a key part in supporting automotive / EV manufacturing, ensuring efficient inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, and inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities: • Design, configure, and support SAP EWM processes, including: • Inbound & Outbound logistics • Goods Receipt / Goods Issue • Putaway, Picking, Packing • Internal warehouse movements • Physical Inventory & Cycle Counting • Configure EWM master data: • Warehouse structure (storage types, bins, activity areas) • Packaging specifications, handling units • Warehouse process types & layouts • Integrate SAP EWM with: • SAP MM (Procurement & Inventory Management) • SAP SD (Outbound delivery & shipping) • SAP PP / P2P (Production supply & staging) • Support production supply processes: • Line-side replenishment • Kanban / staging • Collaborate with plant, warehouse, and supply chain teams onsite • Prepare functional specifications and work with technical/ABAP teams • Support UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare • Troubleshoot and resolve EWM-related production and warehouse issues • Ensure compliance with internal controls, safety, and operational standards Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM • End-to-end knowledge of warehouse and logistics processes • Experience in SAP S/4HANA EWM environments • Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, and PP • Experience with: • RF framework • Handling Units (HU) • Warehouse Monitoring • Ability to work onsite or hybrid at Normal, IL • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience in automotive / manufacturing / EV industries • Knowledge of Advanced Shipping & Receiving (ASR) • Exposure to SAP TM integration • Experience with Fiori apps for EWM • SAP EWM certification 1.
