RADIOLOGIC TECH - AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER

General Summary: Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physician Principal Duties & Responsibilities: - Prepare and position patient for procedure by using established protocols to achieve the highest quality image. - Perform Routine Radiographic and Fluoroscopic Procedures using fixed and portable imaging equipment. - Answering phones - Minimum Typing - Monitor equipment. - Request supplies. - Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Required: - Registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists along with 1 year experience - State licensure required. - Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame. - Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed. - Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles. - Demonstrate and apply knowledge of principles of radiation safety - Ability to work well with others and independently - Provide excellent patient care while utilizing critical thinking skills -Adheres to clinic's policies and procedures. Education: - Successful completion of accredited radiologic technologist program.
