Here's the deal: We're hiring a strong, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented candidate to manage all aspects of payroll processing, requiring an experienced professional who can ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of payroll-related responsibilities. Shift Starts. You Take Over. This is what it takes to work for us. Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role (3+ years). Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Experience managing payroll deductions, garnishments, retirement plans, and workers' compensation. Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently. An outstanding benefits package will be disclosed upon hire, This is a direct-hire position! Key Responsibilities: Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees. Manage federal and state tax deposits, including payroll tax withholding and unemployment tax payments. Prepare, file, and submit all required IRS quarterly forms (such as 941s) and corresponding state tax filings. Handle all wage-related obligations, including 401(k) contributions, child support, garnishments, and other deductions. Oversee workers' compensation reporting, audits, and payroll-related communication with carriers. Coordinate and process year-end tasks, including W-2 preparation and distribution. Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality. Collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate reporting, reconciliation, and documentation. Friendly. Attentive.
