This is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position, located in our Mentor, Ohio office. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Including, but not limited to these functionalities: Weld components and material to standard and custom specifications. Produce strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous, and consistent. Test and inspect products to ensure specifications are met. Report any deficiencies and discrepancies to the Process Expert. Follow department processes to ensure ISO compliance. Follow required procedures and use appropriate jigs and fixtures to assist in the assembly process. Operate equipment in a safe manner and report hazards associated with the equipment. Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations. Attend and participate in company required training and departmental meetings. Maintain clean, neat, safe, and orderly work area. Other essential duties as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Technical degree/certification preferred. Experience: 7-10 years of experience of welding or related experience. Knowledge of welding processes and equipment Ability to weld in awkward positions such as vertical, flat, and overhead with good penetration and quality appearance. Possess strong math skills. Ability to reach schematics and cut lists. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and organization skills. Work Environment: Fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. Requires working closely with production and engineering teams on-site. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this role is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
