Electro-Mechanical Technician

Summary/Objective: The EM Tech is responsible for facility and equipment repairs consisting of electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This individual is expected to apply electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. Then apply technical skills in restoring equipment to normal operation. Duties and ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment Installs, starts up, and shuts down equipment Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed. Assists all personnel with technical troubleshooting Assists with the training of other maintenance and technical-level employees. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Use various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Support other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Two-year technical degree or relevant work experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment, including special instruments for diagnostic purposes. Relevant maintenance experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with basic PLC and HVAC experience Must possess excellent organizational skills, technical capacity, and problem-solving/analysis abilities.
