Civil Engineer - Wind Farm Access & Road Design

Required Qualifications: Must be available to work full-time onsite in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time. Experience as a civil engineer or in road design/modification projects. Skilled in using GIS tools and creating .kmz files. Proficiency in coding to perform road-use optimization studies. Experience managing multiple projects in parallel. Key Responsibilities: Support the maintenance team on major wind component restorations, such as gearboxes and blade replacements. ssess and plan the best road access for transporting large components to wind sites. Use GIS tools to upload data into internal platforms. Conduct road surveys and recommend changes for safe transport of large cranes and equipment. Design road modifications including turn radius adjustments, crane pad layouts, and gravel/soil specifications. Coordinate with local and state agencies, ensuring proper road-use agreements are secured. Oversee all civil-related project planning, ensuring timely completion of road and access modifications.
