Electrical Engineer

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an Electrical Engineer opportunity in West Mifflin, PA. Our company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as part of the Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) project, which is a multi-site organization engaged in the design, production, testing, and delivery of advanced training simulators. The successful candidate will: • Have experience performing electrical drafting • Collaborate with engineers to create or modify designs and drawings for PPTT equipment • Review Supplier electrical designs for adherence to technical requirements Requirements Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Electrical Engineer • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required. • Active or recently active DOE L or Q, or DOD Secret or Top Secret security clearance. Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Proficiency performing electrical engineering drafting • Knowledge of drafting standards and techniques • Experience creating or reviewing electrical engineering designs based on approved technical requirements • Proficiency with engineering software including SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical, and/or AutoCAD • Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers, low voltage electrical distribution, audiovisual, or telecommunications systems • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products If you are interested in being considered for this position and your resume clearly outlines your relevant experience for this position, please follow the application steps via our website: Edgewater will not submit your resume without first having detailed discussions with you and obtaining your permission to do so.
