Sr. Supervisor, Production Test (ATSO)Astronics Subsidiary Astronics Test SystemsLocation Orlando, FloridaDescriptionGeneral Summary:Astronics Test Systems is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead a team of Production Test Technicians in the development and implementation of test procedures, systems, and methodologies to produce our commercial, and aerospace and defense products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production test, as well as experience managing a team. In this role, you will work closely with the product development team to ensure that all products are thoroughly tested and meet our customers' requirements.Principal Duties and Responsibilities Lead and manage the Production Test team in the development and execution of test plans and procedures. Work closely with the product development team to ensure that products which reach production are achieving appropriate yield rates to meet customer requirements. Oversee or spearhead the design, build, and maintenance of test fixtures and equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve test issues. Manage and maintain test data and documentation. Lead continuous improvement projects to further improve the quality and efficiency of the organization. Hire and train new Production Test team members. Job SpecificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Qualifications/ Experience Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field. 5+ years of experience in production test or test engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role. Knowledge of RF testing and measurement techniques. Strong understanding of test methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience with automated test equipment, test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and test software development environments, such as Test Stand or LabVIEW. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem solving with knowledge in performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective action. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MIL-STD testing. Familiarity with environmental testing, including vibration and thermal testing.
