Data Coding Operator

Project timeframe: The project is anticipated to run October 30, 2023 - January 12, 2024 . Location: Treasury Operations Center - 7285 Parsons Drive, Dimondale, MI 48821. Hours: Full time; 7:00a - 3:30p. The State of Michigan Department of Treasury is looking to start recruiting 30 Intermediate Data Coding Operators for their annual Garnishment (Garns) season. Treasury's Mail & Data Operations intakes approximately 160,000 paper garnishments and payments requiring sorting, imaging, and data entry into a data capture system. The focus will be to complete the processing of all garnishments prior to the first income tax run in mid-January 2024. This position is fast paced, requires excellent data entry skills, a high degree of accuracy and the ability to learn quickly and retain information.
