Journeyman Maintenance Electrician

SUMMARY Responsible for the repair and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Prior experience with press machines is highly preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following are key responsibilities of the role. Additional duties may be assigned as needed: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the Environmental Management System, and employment guidelines relevant to this position. Monitor mechanical devices during operation and identify sources of malfunction through sound and performance analysis. Disassemble equipment to access, repair, or replace defective components. Inspect and evaluate parts for wear, defects, or irregularities in form and texture. Measure and assess parts to ensure they meet required specifications. Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components and control instruments. Install functional and structural parts in machinery. Perform routine lubrication and cleaning of parts and equipment. Test equipment to ensure proper functionality after repair. Operate machine tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders to fabricate or repair components. Initiate purchase orders for necessary parts and equipment.
