PRN Home Care CNA

As a Cerified Nursing Assistant (CNA) your compassion can make a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with health challenges all from the comfort of their own homes.  This is a PRN position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis. Your schedule will vary depending on the cases available and the number of hours required for each case.Responsibilities:  Provide direct in-home care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intakeAssist with light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, and transportationAssist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercisesCheck vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changesWork with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient’s care plan is followedObserve patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipmentPerform other CNA/PCA duties as assigned, in accordance with the care plan and supervision guidelines Caregiver Qualifications:  Current CNA certification  At least 6 months of previous experience in home health or long-term care setting preferredCurrent CPR certification Negative TB test (within past 12 months) Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportationPass pre-employment drug screen and background checkCompassionate nature, dependable, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  Benefits: $16.00 - $18.00/hr (depending on experience/qualifications and case assignment) Weekly payPaid trainingAssignment acceptance & shift pick-up bonusesMake your own schedule, work independently and enjoy work-life balanceBuild your skills with online training
