MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Mann & Hummel Is looking for a maintenance technician to join our team in Lake Wales, FL. We look forward to hearing from you! Job Summary The maintenance mechanics are skilled mechanics who ensure equipment is maintained and properly functioning to prevent downtime. What you'll do: Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical motors, conveyors, and gearbox failures on industrial equipment. Interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams for troubleshooting purposes. Document maintenance activities and used materials accurately. Equipment installations and modifications. Adjust sensors, valves, and control components and line set-up. Perform maintenance on automation and control systems. What you'll need: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance Fundamental knowledge of industrial mechanics and basic electricity. Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic control systems. Basic ability to interpret technical manuals Effective verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Mechanical measuring instruments. Ability to diagnose and resolve automation-related issues. Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments. Working Conditions Full-time position Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production, and non-production areas. This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond normal hours. Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises, typical of a manufacturing plant.
