Overview Publicis Sapient is looking for a GCP Solutions Technical Leader to join our Google Business Unit. This is a hands-on builder-leader role at the intersection of advanced cloud engineering, AI/ML innovation, and strategic client advisory. You will serve as the technical "north star" for both sales and delivery teams, architecting production-grade solutions, leading rapid prototyping of high-stakes pursuits, and converting real-world implementation knowledge into scalable, repeatable offerings. This role acts as a force multiplier across the organisation. You will partner with engineering leaders, delivery teams, and Google counterparts to capture what works in the field and transform it into reusable assets, demos, and go-to-market accelerators. You will apply cross-industry pattern thinking (e.g., Financial Services, Retail) to accelerate solutioning across additional sectors and ensure our Google Cloud solutions are both winnable and executable at scale. ResponsibilitiesYour ImpactArchitect & Engineer Scalable GCP Solutions Design and engineer end-to-end cloud-native architectures on Google Cloud, orchestrating IaaS, PaaS and data services to support scalable, distributed systems. You will architect enterprise-grade AI/ML pipelines using Vertex AI, Gemini and agentic AI frameworks while ensuring security, cost optimisation and high availability. Lead Hands-on Prototyping & Rapid POCs Work directly with small development teams to rapidly build prototypes and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate capability and de-risk client decisions. Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate iteration speed and delivery quality. Act as a Trusted Client Advisor Conduct discovery sessions and provide expert guidance on AI/ML implementation strategies grounded in real-world delivery experience across industries. Evangelise Google Cloud & AI Innovation Educate and inspire delivery teams on the "why and how" of Google Cloud. Continuously capture field learnings and transform successful approaches into repeatable offerings and accelerators. Build Reusable Assets & Demo Libraries Create and maintain a repository of reference architectures, code samples, demos and POCs that accelerate pursuits and delivery. Bring credibility through published examples of solutions you have built (e.g., code repositories, technical content, demo applications). Partner with Engineering Leadership Act as a trusted co-partner to engineering leaders-stress-testing feasibility, refining early-stage solutions, and showcasing strong demos and industry examples when it matters most. Strengthen the Google Ecosystem Partnership Build deep relationships with Google Partner and Customer Engineering teams to coordinate specialised resources and product briefings. Provide field feedback to Google product and engineering teams to shape future innovation and strengthen joint solutions. QualificationsExperience & Leadership 10-12+ years in solution architecture with a strong focus on AI/ML and Google Cloud technologies Proven experience in customer-facing architecture roles within professional services or systems engineering Demonstrated ability to influence senior technical stakeholders and executive audiences Technical Expertise Deep expertise across Google Cloud IaaS, PaaS, data and AI/ML services Proven track record designing and delivering enterprise AI/ML solutions Strong hands-on experience building prototypes and production-ready reference implementations using modern AI-assisted development tools Cross-Industry Perspective Experience delivering solutions across multiple industry verticals (e.g., Financial Services, Retail) Ability to identify reusable patterns and apply them across sectors to accelerate go-to-market execution Communication & Stakeholder Management Confident presenter able to deliver persuasive technical narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong collaborator able to align multiple engineering teams around reusable solution patterns Set Yourself Apart WithAdvanced Certifications: Current Professional Google Cloud certifications, specifically Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, and Machine Learning Specialty. Complex Platform Integrations: Proven technical exposure to orchestrating integrations between GCP and third-party enterprise platforms, including Salesforce, Oracle, and VMware environments. Innovation & Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in building and leading innovation-led technical teams using agile frameworks, including establishing "POC-to-offering" pathways (reference implementations, demo assets, accelerators). Cross-Platform Synergy: A sophisticated understanding of the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and Google Ads ecosystem to drive unified data and marketing solutions. Technical Governance: Deep comfort collaborating with senior technical stakeholders on complex topics such as Security, Data Privacy, and Information Management. Thought Leadership & Public Presence: Experience presenting in GCP forums (e.g., Google Cloud Next and partner events), with credibility as a practitioner who can translate real implementations into clear points of view. Additional information Pay Range: $220,000 - $300,000 The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
