Job Title: CDL A Driver - Local Deliveries Location: Rochester, NY Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a CDL A Driver for a local delivery position based in Rochester. This Direct Hire role offers stability, consistent Monday-Friday scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a safety-focused team. Ideal candidates will have a Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and a minimum of 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience. Shift: Monday - Friday | 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM Optional overtime available Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a straight truck for local deliveries Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported according to safety regulations Complete required daily logs, pre-trip and post-trip inspections Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any incidents or equipment issues Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally Qualifications: Valid CDL A license with HazMat endorsement At least 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience Clean driving record and strong attention to safety Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening Dependable and punctual Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, and bend throughout the shift Requires good vision and hearing for safe operation and communication Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
