Finish Sprayer Trainer

Company DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary: Safely and efficiently manage the finish area and assist the supervisor, with an emphasis on ensuring the application of the stain, toner, and/or sealer meets or exceeds expectations and that in doing so proper procedures are followed. Duties and Responsibilities: Conducts regular sprayer audits (minimum of 3 audits a week for full time sprayers) Certifies sprayers Shows and explains video training film Updates and maintains ASDOT database on computer daily. Calculates Sprayer Operators scores and averages for certification. Trains Sprayer Operators on SOS. Updates SOS as needed. Trains Sprayer Operators on booth maintenance process. Sprays in booths. Ensures sprayers have been properly trained. Coaches and corrects Sprayer Operators to ensure proper ASDOT technique is used. Supports all areas to relieve operators. Ensures all operators are performing tasks according to documented procedures. Perform all daily/weekly LPAs, 6S audits, and other audits as assigned. Often works independently Works on special projects as assigned Performs daily spray booth audits. Regular attendance is required. Some travel may be required. Other duties as assigned.
