Temah Healthcare Services Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is psychiatric rehabilitation program located in Baltimore County. We are currently looking for a part time or full-time licensed mental health professional for our Rehabilitation Specialist position. Our ideal candidate will be somebody who has great people skills and is able to work independently.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESManaging medical records and requesting records from outside agenciesCompleting and tracking individual rehabilitation plans obtaining authorizations for servicesReview of client services to meet COMAR and billable standards supervising PRP counselorsChecking for note corrections and releasing notes  Scheduling new referrals and completing intake assessmentsKeeping regular contact with PRP counselorsMediating client complaintsAiding in the rehabilitation of our clientsAttending weekly management staff meetingsTrain rehabilitation counselorsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Thorough understanding of clinical documentationWorking understanding of COMAR regulations for outpatient mental health and clinical documentationEffective time management skills and the ability to work independently.Full understanding of ethics in clinical care and crisis intervention.Job Type: part time (20 hrs shift) OR full time (40 hrs shift) Required education:Master's Required experience:Must be a licensed social worker, counselor, psychologist, or a psychiatric mental health nurse practitionerRequired license or certification: Occupational Therapist
