Job Title DevOps Engineer - SAP BTP (AI Exposure Preferred) Location Austin, TX Experience 6-10+ yearsJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) experience to support cloud-native application development, CI/CD automation, and platform operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing DevOps pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and SAP BTP services. Exposure to AI/ML tools or intelligent automation is a strong plus. This role will work closely with development, architecture, security, and business teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure deployments.Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native and SAP BTP-based applications Manage and support SAP BTP environments (Cloud Foundry / Kyma Runtime) Automate build, deployment, monitoring, and release processes Work with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or similar Monitor application and infrastructure health using logging and monitoring tools Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of platforms Collaborate with security teams to implement DevSecOps best practices Support production releases, incident management, and root cause analysis Document DevOps processes, standards, and operational procedures Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering roles Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma Runtime BTP services (Destinations, Connectivity, XSUAA, Integration Suite - nice to have) Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.) Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Linux/Unix environments Scripting experience in Shell, Python, or Groovy Strong understanding of networking, security, and authentication concepts Nice to Have / Plus Skills AI / ML exposure AIOps, intelligent monitoring, or automation Experience integrating AI services or models into pipelines Experience with SAP AI Core / AI Launchpad Knowledge of MLOps concepts Experience with microservices architecture Prior experience supporting enterprise-scale SAP landscapes Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment Proactive problem solver with attention to detail Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
