Accounts Receivable Analyst/ Credit Manager

Description The Accounts Receivable Analyst/ Credit Manager, reporting to the Manager of Collections and Credit, will work in a team environment and will be responsible for monitoring customer accounts on a daily basis and proactively following up with customers on outstanding accounts receivable. KEY RESPONSIBILITES: • Own and maintain a customer account portfolio • Lead all collection activities for assigned accounts to ensure all past due amounts are collected • Review and monitor assigned accounts and applicable collection reports • Make outbound collection calls and resolve customer billing issues • Collaborate and build strong rapport with field Sales team • Respond to customer account inquiries in a timely and professional manner, daily • Resolve client-invoicing problems with exceptional customer service • Minimize past due amounts and potential write-offs • Collaborate with other departments and colleagues on managing accounts • Proactively identify potential issues attributing to account delinquency and communicate with management • Consistently review and recommend proper collection account maintenance to management • Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • 2+ years of office experience, Collections experience a plus • Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills required • Must possess an entrepreneurial mentality • Willing to make 100 phone calls per day • Proven ability to work independently • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups, and reporting on large datasets) • Strong organization and prioritization skills • Attention to detail and accuracy • Proven track record of professional and personal integrity and ethics About Lipari Foods Headquartered in Warren, Michigan, Lipari Foods is a leading independent distributor built around global and specialty foods.
