Extrusion Utility Worker

Job Location: Elkhart, INSummary: Work closely with Press team to process scheduled orders in a timely manner and meet production goals. Follow specific order instructions to meet customer specifications for each order. Fast paced environment in both hot and cold conditions. Job Responsibilities: Be able to navigate and understand SCS & AS400 system Occasionally lift and pack aluminum parts individually or with a partner Uses measurement tools and visual inspection to verify quality of parts Completes tasks in a timely manner to meet productivity goals Work closely with Press and Saw Operators Coordinate with other departments as needed Operate stretching equipment per order specifications Closely inspect processed aluminum for damage Load aluminum logs with crane or Combi-Lift Serve as a cross-functional team member to assist other positions as needed Job Requirements: Follows applicable Job Safety Analysis and Work Instructions Understands and follows all safety policies Able to work set schedule for full 12hour shift Work in both hot and cold conditions Attends training sessions as required Basic computer application skills Ability to read a tape measure Basic mathematical skills Lift up to 50 pounds Education and Work Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Hydro employees can enjoy several benefits including: Medical, Rx, Dental, Disability, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts Retirement Savings Plans with Company Match/Contributions Education Assistance Bonus Plan Eligibility Parental Leave
