Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU) - School of Nursing is seeking a BSN Clinical Coordinator beginning in July 2026. The BSN Clinical Coordinator position is a full-time hybrid faculty position that reports to the Dean of Nursing. The Clinical Coordinator will serve as a liaison between the nursing program and clinical partners and will be responsible for facilitating clinical learning experiences across the BSN program. Responsibilities: The BSN Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for, with advisement from Program Coordinators and the Dean of Nursing, the securement of clinical sites. The Clinical Coordinator will maintain affiliation agreements, negotiate new sites to meet program needs, and maintain awareness of clinical agency policies/procedures that may affect the nursing program. Job Functions: Serve as a liaison between the BSN program and clinical partners. Ensure all affiliation agreements are met, stored, and maintained. Submit all clinical requests and schedules for clinical sites, in compliance with dates and timeline established by clinical agencies (MyClinical Exchange, etc.) Ensure that all students meet compliance requirements necessary for clinical attendance. Collaboratively assists in the evaluation of clinical experiences (student, faculty, and agency). Uses feedback and data to drive changes in clinical experiences that help students meet program learning outcomes and increase their readiness for practice. Assists in the recruitment and recommendations of adjunct clinical faculty appointment. Participates in new faculty onboarding and adjunct faculty orientation. Participates in mid-term and end-of-term program alignment meetings, evaluation of the BSN program. Qualifications Required: A graduate degree in nursing. Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in Missouri (a compact state) Two or more years of experience as a registered professional nurse. Effective interpersonal skills and cultural awareness. Competency in use of Microsoft Office, TEAMS, and various technology. CPR certification. Preferred: Experience as a clinical educator or coordinator in healthcare system. Experience in project management. The employee must occasionally lift objects weighing from 10 - 30 pounds and possibly up to 50 pounds. Close vision needed to use computer. Must have distance vision and depth perception for safety purposes.
