Job Description Skilled TIG/MIG Welders & Fabricators - Direct Hire / Temp-to-Hire (Detroit Area) We are seeking highly skilled welders and fabricators to join our fabrication team working on paint holding tanks, risers, and related structural components. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to large-scale projects with potential for long-term direct hire placement. Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and other materials Read and interpret AFC (approved for construction) drawings and translate them to shop floor fabrication Execute precise face-to-face measurements, fit-up, and layout work Fabricate and assemble components in a shop environment (some in-house cutting, shearing, pressing, and milling support available) Experience with pipe welding (field or shop) strongly preferred; stainless steel expertise required Pay Rate: $20-$26 per hour, based on skill level and experience Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM Employment Type: Temp-to-hire (initial 6-month contract period, with clear communication to candidates; strong performers transition to direct hire with benefits eligibility including medical, dental, and 401k) Location: Fabrication shop environment with in-house equipment (iron worker, press brake, shear, mills, automatic saws, threader, etc.)
