VP of Policy Compliance

A financial services organization in North Carolina is seeking an experienced professional to join their team in Charlotte as their new VP, Policy Compliance. In this role, the VP, Policy Compliance will be responsible for advising business units on data standards and ensuring compliance with corporate data policies. This is a great Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week. Responsibilities: Advising business unit leads on corporate data standards and practices Supporting the development and implementation of data policies Auditing data sources to ensure accuracy and quality Planning and managing data storage to avoid redundancy Collaborating with IT and compliance teams to enhance data integration Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: 7 years of experience in Data Governance or related fields Bachelor's Degree in a related field Strong expertise in Data Storage and Integration tools Advanced knowledge of Quality Controls and Data Management strategies Solid understanding of Corporate Data Sources and Usage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to coordinate across multiple teams Desired Skills: 10 years of experience in Data-related roles Advanced Degree in Data Science or related discipline Certifications in Data Management or Compliance Proficiency in advanced Data Management software
