Please review the required qualifications below for each level. Expected Salary Range: Mid-Level - $92,700 - $114,000 Senior Level - $122,400 - $154,000 Primary Purpose of Position As an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer, you will engage in advanced technical problem solving to support nuclear plant operations. You will be responsible for making critical technical decisions and will hold comprehensive knowledge in your domain, applying industry codes and regulations effectively. Key Responsibilities: Provide detailed technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement various engineering analyses, activities, and programs. Consult and assist in identifying and resolving system and equipment issues. Oversee task management related to engineering challenges. Conduct engineering tasks as directed, utilizing established engineering principles. Ensure the correctness and completeness of work, maintaining configuration management and adhering to design standards, practices, procedures, and codes. Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs. Suggest innovations and improvements in equipment, methodologies, and designs to enhance performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, or comply with regulatory changes. Be flexible and undertake additional job duties as directed by management, including emergency response and supporting outage activities outside your department. Minimum Qualifications: For Mid-Level E02 Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) with a minimum of 2 years of related nuclear or engineering experience. Ability to meet minimum access requirements, ensuring a favorable medical examination and/or testing per position duties. For Senior E03 Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with at least 5 years of nuclear engineering experience or related fields. Ability to fulfill minimum access requirements, ensuring a favorable medical examination and/or testing per position roles. Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer Registration. Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework. Experience in Instrumentation and Control (I&C) design. Familiarity with SCADA and Controls systems.
