Job Summary: A Brighter Future Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homecare Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. The Homecare CNA will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and health monitoring, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our clients. This position requires adherence to all applicable laws and regulations in North Carolina. Responsibilities: Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility, including transfers from bed to wheelchair, walking, and range of motion exercises. Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Medication Reminders: Assist clients with medication reminders and follow care plans as instructed by healthcare professionals. Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences. Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, client condition, and any changes observed. Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding client care and needs. Safety: Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure the well-being of clients and yourself. Qualifications: Certification: Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of North Carolina. Experience: Prior experience in home healthcare or a related field is preferred. CPR Certification: Current CPR certification required. Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client homes. Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Compassion: Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a strong desire to help others. Work Environment: The Homecare CNA will work primarily in client homes, providing one-on-one care. This role may require flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet clients' needs.
