Hospice CNA Travel Job Details Position: Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Hospice Location: Colchester, VT 05446 (Vermont healthcare job) Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350-$1,460 per week Setting: Community hospice (home visits) with inpatient hospice/respite support as needed at a local hospice provider Start Date: 02/09/2026 End Date: 03/09/2026 Duration: 4 weeks Hours: 40 hours/week Shift: 8-hour day shifts Weekend Requirement: Every weekend required Floating: Not required Documentation System: NetSmart (training provided during orientation) Orientation: 2-3 days Openings: 1 Travel CNA - Hospice Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience required; hospice/end-of-life care experience strongly preferred Certification: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential Licensure: Vermont CNA eligibility/credentialing required for offer CPR: BLS required Transportation: Reliable personal or rental vehicle required/strongly recommended (public transportation is not accessible for home visits) Scheduling: Must be able to follow the posted schedule; no block scheduling Professional Standards: Business casual or non-institutional scrubs; closed-toe supportive shoes; limited jewelry; neat grooming; no nail polish Key Responsibilities (Hospice CNA) Provide compassionate, comfort-focused personal care to hospice patients in homes and care facilities, supporting dignity and quality of life Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, repositioning, and skin care Observe, report, and document changes in patient condition, comfort, and safety concerns to the clinical team Support patients and families with calm presence, respectful communication, and reinforcement of the hospice plan of care Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure consistent, patient-centered care across settings Document care accurately and on time in NetSmart per hospice standards Follow infection prevention and safety protocols during community visits and inpatient support Apply now to be considered for this Travel Hospice CNA assignment in Colchester, VT (05446).
