Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager Project: Paging / Public Address System Modernization Duration: 6 to 12 Months Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid - 3 Days Per week onsite) Position Overview We are seeking a Contract Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the end-to-end replacement and modernization of a mission-critical paging/public address (PA) system supporting terminal-wide announcements and operational communications. This role will oversee planning, procurement, funding coordination, vendor selection, and full implementation of the upgraded system across a complex, 24/7 operational environment. The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing infrastructure modernization initiatives with structured governance, financial oversight, and vendor accountability. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Governance Assess current paging/PA infrastructure and define modernization roadmap Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies Establish governance structure and reporting cadence Provide executive-level status reporting and stakeholder updates Procurement & Vendor Management Develop scope of work and support RFP/RFQ processes Lead vendor evaluation and selection activities Manage vendor contracts, deliverables, SLAs, and milestone tracking Oversee change management and contract modifications Budget & Funding Coordination Develop capital budget forecasts and cost estimates Track expenditures and manage financial reporting Support funding approvals and cost justification documentation Monitor and control change orders Implementation & Deployment Oversee system design, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning Coordinate phased deployment in a live operational environment Manage cutover planning to minimize service disruption Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements Stakeholder Management Serve as primary liaison between engineering, operations, finance, and vendors Facilitate cross-functional meetings and governance reviews Manage issue escalation and resolution Required Qualifications 7-10+ years of Infrastructure Project Management experience Demonstrated experience managing vendor-led infrastructure implementations Strong procurement and contract management background Experience upgrading or replacing operational systems (PA systems, telecom, low-voltage, networking, building systems, etc.) Experience delivering projects in highly regulated or operationally sensitive environments Strong financial management and capital project tracking experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in airport, transportation, or other large 24/7 operational environments Experience managing phased infrastructure cutovers Familiarity with audio/PA or low-voltage systems PMP certification At KAYGEN, we are always looking for dynamic, talented and experienced individuals.
