Job Description Transportation Project Manager (PE) - Georgia Impact Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering firm seeking a Transportation Project Manager to lead transportation design projects across Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned engineering professional who thrives in a leadership role and enjoys managing projects from concept through construction. The role is based in Augusta, GA, but can be a hybrid position with occasional office visits (3-4x a month). Position Overview As a Transportation Project Manager, you will lead a design team while overseeing all aspects of project delivery - from pursuing new opportunities and preparing proposals to ensuring on-time and on-budget execution. This role blends technical expertise, team leadership, client relationship management, and business development. Key Responsibilities Serve as Senior Technical Advisor and Subject Matter Expert Identify new markets and maintain strong client relationships Prepare proposals, qualification statements, estimates, and presentations Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets Lead project kickoff meetings and coordinate team workloads Oversee design reviews and provide progress reporting Manage bidding and construction phase coordination Ensure quality control and compliance with company standards Mentor and guide technical staff Maintain organized project documentation and close out projects properly Qualifications 8+ years of engineering design consulting experience 3-5 years of project management experience BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent Professional Engineer (PE) license in GA (or ability to obtain) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technical software Valid driver's license What's Offered Bi-annual profit/bonus distributions 401(k) employer match Entrepreneurial and growth-focused culture Collaborative, multidisciplinary work environment Strong career development and advancement opportunities We invite you to consider a career opportunity through Impact Recruitment.
