Assembly Inspector

Job Title: Assembly Inspector Job DescriptionAs a Quality Assurance Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of machined, assembled, and specially processed products through all stages of production. You will collaborate closely with the production team to provide engineering support, rework, and inspection verification, and support various departments in inspection tasks.Responsibilities Inspect in-process products using handheld inspection equipment, and perform hardness and conductivity tests. Conduct inspections of received products from processing and outsource suppliers, reviewing certifications and engineering specifications. Inspect final products, including painted and part-marked items. Perform dimensional captures for first articles and conduct first part buy-off inspections as needed. Participate in problem-solving teams to support Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) activities. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding and experience with inspection procedures and processes. Familiarity with quality concepts related to Six Sigma, Lean, and ISO standards. Knowledge of statistical quality control and process control techniques. Ability to read blueprints and drawings and use basic measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Computer skills including MRP systems, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CMM or Arm is a plus. Auditing experience is advantageous. CAD knowledge is desirable. Catia/Enovia skills are a plus. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well with others are essential.
