Laborer - Manufacturing

About the Role: CP Industries is seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our team as Laborers in a fast-paced steel mill/manufacturing environment. This position involves a variety of hands-on tasks in support of production operations, including material handling, equipment operation, and general labor duties.All laborers are trained to safely operate forklifts and remote overhead cranes. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in a high-demand industrial setting with room for advancement.Key Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of manual labor tasks to support manufacturing processesAssist with loading, unloading, and movement of steel products and materialsOperate or learn to operate forklifts and remote cranesMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFollow all safety procedures and company policiesWork effectively in a team-oriented, unionized environment Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing, steel mill, or industrial environmentAbility to work in a physically demanding setting (standing, lifting, bending, etc.)Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learnForklift or crane operation experience is a plus Requirements: Must pass a post-offer physical examMust pass a drug screenMust pass a background checkMust be able to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed Why Join Us?
