Salary: $15.00 Hourly Location : Greene Center-Beavercreek, OH Job Type: Part Time 50% Job Number: 202600018 Division: Student Affairs Department: Regional Locations Opening Date: 02/25/2026 Description This position is designed to directly support students and the Access and Retention Coordinator by administering (proctoring) a variety of tests: academic tests, placement tests, and TEAS tests. This position is an integral point of contact for new and current students in addition to serving as a faculty liaison. This position assists with ensuring that students who are eligible, receive their approved accommodations for tests/assessments through partnership with the Office of Accessibility. The Testing Specialist prioritizes connecting with parties in a meaningful, trauma-informed way to promote a sense of belonging on campus. They are responsible for maintaining test security, confidentiality and upholding the integrity of the Testing Center. Position is not benefit eligible. Varied shifts - includes day/evening hours (at times, as late as 7:00p up to 2 nights per week). Average 20 hours a week. Monday-Thursday, Fridays as needed. Location: Beavercreek Relationships and CustomersOutside Testing Entities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for administering a variety of academic and specialty tests to students with and without disabilities. Proctor Accuplacer Assessments, manage and explain score reports, and assist students in their next enrollment step. Prioritize a high volume of communications, including scheduling appointments, overseeing email correspondence, and promptly responding to phone calls and voicemails to ensure efficient operations. Maintain attention to detail and timeliness in test preparation, administration, and returning materials to faculty. Maintain a positive rapport with faculty, staff, and students, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for testers. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively to make decisions using critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Manage multiple software systems to enhance efficiency and productivity, including overseeing various email accounts and effectively utilizing technology to support operational goals. Create and maintain reports on testing data. Perform office management duties, including organizing, filing, utilizing the printer and scanner, stocking supplies, and maintaining the testing area. Maintain test security, confidentiality, and uphold the integrity of the Center. Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Education and Experience High school graduate or GED equivalent Higher education experience preferred Knowledge of word processing, Outlook and data entry experience preferred Skills and AbilitiesAccountability: Takes responsibility for one's own actions, including but not limited to completing tasks accurately and on time; arriving at designated work/meeting locations when expected; being prepared to work and participate. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. Work Environment Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office. Position is not eligible for benefits.
