Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST, Position Description Number T5268000 and is part of the UNITED STATES PROPERTY AND FISCAL OFFICE, National Guard. Duties Help As a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST (GS-2003-11) you will perform comprehensive analysis of logistical procedures, services, directives, and the operation of the division. The incumbent compiles, correlates, and submits various reports on logistical functions and provides technical guidance and policy direction for the division. Acts in behalf of the Supply Management Officer when required. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. May be required to successfully complete a 2 year trial period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Work may require access to classified information. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance within one year of appointment. The incumbent of this position description must have at a minimum, a completed National Agency Check (NAC) prior to position assignment. Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day. The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments. Qualifications SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions. Education Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree You must provide a copy of Official Transcripts as documentation to support your educational claims.
