The Management Trust Position Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Anthem Highlands in Broomfield, CO Reporting To: Maintenance Manager Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hourly/DOE COMPANY PROFILE: The Management Trust is a community association management company. EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE: The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for the general maintenance and repair of common area components of the Association including but not limited to, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, groundskeeping and drywall repairs. Our upscale HOA community features a vibrant clubhouse campus that includes: • Indoor basketball court • Expansive weight and cardio fitness center • Multiple rental/event rooms • Two swimming pools with lifeguard building • Outdoor tennis courts • Outdoor sand volleyball court • Scenic ponds and meticulously maintained grounds We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to help maintain these amenities and support our active calendar of social events. What You'll Do As a key member of the facilities team, you'll help ensure our community spaces remain safe, functional, and visually impressive. Facility & Equipment Maintenance • Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment • Complete minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs • Maintain fitness equipment and common area machinery • Clean, repair, and replace lighting fixtures and bulbs • Perform drywall repairs and painting and touch-ups to preserve high-end finishes Aquatics & Outdoor Amenity Support • Support pool operations by maintaining deck cleanliness and organization • Set up and arrange pool furniture; monitor condition of furnishings and amenities • Assist with upkeep of tennis courts, volleyball court, ponds, and surrounding areas • Identify and report safety or maintenance concerns promptly • Minor snow removal Event & Community Support • Assist with room setups and breakdowns for rentals and vibrant social events • Support logistics for large-scale community gatherings • Help maintain a welcoming, polished environment before, during, and after events Operational Excellence • Maintain shop inventory and supplies • Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized • Housekeeping as needed • Complete work orders in a timely manner as assigned • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned What Makes This Role Unique This isn't just a maintenance position - it's an opportunity to be part of a highly engaged, higher-end community where residents take pride in their surroundings and actively participate in programs and events. What We're Looking For • Experience in general building maintenance or facilities operations • Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems • Knowledge of correct drywall patching and repairs • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team • Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend events • Professional, service-oriented demeanor If you enjoy working in an active, amenity-rich environment and take pride in maintaining spaces that bring people together, we invite you to apply and become part of our dynamic team. QUALIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma (or equivalent) • Certified Pool Operator Certificate a plus • Experience in property maintenance - with generally between 3-4 years of experience • General computer knowledge; Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word proficiency a plus • Conflict resolution skills • Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues • Superior multi-tasking skills • Ability to work well alone or under supervision • Excellent written and verbal communication • Ability to provide high-level customer service with astute attention to detail and organization • Must be a team player • Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities • Eagerness to learn and develop new skillsets • Willing to learn Company process and procedures, and learn/use proprietary software • Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record • Professional and respectful demeanor with all internal and external customers at all times SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc. • Use standard maintenance equipment, including: vehicles, power equipment, hand tools, etc. • Relocate up to (50) pounds • Be stationary or in motion for periods of time • Travel to and from offsite locations SUPERVISES OTHERS?
