This role involves maintaining and caring for the parks and recreation buildings. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. If you are passionate for helping the community, apply today! The Building Technician sets up and cleans tables and chairs, prepares rooms for meetings, classes, and other activities. Performs routine building maintenance and cleaning including floors, bathrooms, windows, and doors. Assists with Parks and Recreation special events. Assists with Parks and Recreation Special Events. Works with customers and assists all room occupants with extra tables and chairs or changes in the set-up. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Required: Basic reading and writing skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (must obtain TX driver's license within 90 days). Preferred: One Year custodial and service related experience. Knowledge of floor maintenance equipment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to understand basic reading and writing skills and to get along appropriately with co-workers and the public.
