Manufacturing CAD Designer

Responsible for producing fabrication drawings using Autodesk Inventory CAD software (Inventory, Autocad 2D & Autodesk Vault). This position will play a critical role within the Engineering team ensuring that the design requirements are met and done in an accurate and efficient manner. Responsibilities: Responsible for General Arrangement drawings (GA's) based upon customer sales quotes and Manufacturing drawings Create and revise CAD models and drawings using computer hardware and software Manage drawing system integrity in product data management system (Vault & file structure) Create product structures, work orders and new part numbers as required Create, revise and expand existing CAD drawings to meet customer requirements Produce bills of material from customer-approved drawings to support production Physical Requirements The position operates primarily in an office environment but will have exposure to manufacturing environment Sitting for approximately 75% of the time while working on a personal computer Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds or less Ability to utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Our Commitment to Fair Hiring: HireQuest does not discriminate on the basis of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or other legally protected group status in making hiring or employment decisions.
