Opportunity:RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details:• Work night shifts 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM• 36 weekly guaranteed hours• Weekend hours as needed with expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday)• Float requirements as needed/customary upon request• Patient ratios typically 4-6:1• Care for 50% medical / 50% tele adult patients only• 2+ years of telemetry experience required• Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS• Work with standard nursing equipment on telemetry unit• EMR system: EPIC• Dress code: Black scrubs• Flu vaccination required November 1-April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)• Up to 5 days requested time off can be automatically approved per 13-week period• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments• Must be a team player with superior communication skills focused on positive patient outcomes Facility:This healthcare facility has been a healing presence in the region for more than 150 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care on a centrally located campus.
