ATMI Precast is a 35-year-old design-build precast construction manufacturer supporting complex structural projects across multiple markets. We're looking for a MRO Buyer who can take ownership of sourcing and purchasing the maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies that keep our plant and projects running at peak performance. In this role, you will support production by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are available on time and at the right cost. You'll work closely with plant leadership, maintenance, and operations teams to anticipate needs, manage supplier relationships, and drive efficiency across our supply chain. Summary We're seeking an experienced MRO Buyer with a background in manufacturing or production. This individual will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that inventory levels align with operational needs. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance cost control with timely delivery. This role is critical in preventing downtime, streamlining supply chain processes, and supporting overall plant efficiency. Responsibilities Source, negotiate, and purchase MRO supplies, tools, and equipment to support plant operations Manage vendor relationships, pricing agreements, and lead times Monitor inventory levels and anticipate purchasing needs to avoid downtime Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely deliveries Track and report on cost savings, supplier performance, and budget alignment Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records in company systems Continuously seek opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and reduce costs. RequirementsMRO purchasing experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities Familiarity with ERP systems or purchasing software a plus Familiarity with DeWalt or Hilti tool programs is a plus Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset Salary Description $60,000 - $65,000, based on experience.
