Sr Java Developer

Job Title: Sr Java Developer Client: Charter (If former Charter experience, must share project/manager details) Tenure: through 2026 # of Positions: 1 Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to support an AWS migration project. • Java & Spring Boot: 8+ years of Java development with Spring Boot microservices experience • Spring Framework: Expert knowledge of Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud • AWS Services: Hands-on experience with S3, RDS, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and CloudWatch • IAM & Security: Strong understanding of AWS IAM roles, policies, and IRSA for EKS pod-level permissions • Kubernetes/EKS: Practical experience deploying and running applications on EKS or Kubernetes • Docker: Proficiency in containerizing Java applications with optimized Dockerfile creation • RESTful APIs: Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful web services • Databases: Strong Postgres SQL skills • Gitlab: Proficient with Gitlab workflows and version control best practices • Postgres DB Top Must Haves: Java, Microservices, Springboot, AWS Other Requirements: 4 days/week in client office is mandatory. Remote is not an option. Flexible to work during offshore overlapping hours in the morning.
