Maintenance Technician

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a top automotive manufacturer in the Grandville area, is looking to add a maintenance technician to their team. Maintenance Technician Overview: 2nd shift: 3:00p-11:00p M-F Must be willing to train on 1 st shift: 7am-3pm $25/hr Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Perform general trade-related maintenance duties to maintain plant systems, structures, and equipment Conduct all required preventative maintenance on equipment Maintain records and documentation for the PM program Inform the maintenance leader of any immediate repair needs Acquire basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and pump Learn basic knowledge of electricity and electrical circuits to locate electrical issues Follow daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for checking and lubricating machinery Maintain adequate inventory of required PM parts Assist in maintaining the building and grounds as needed. Maintenance Technician Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent 3+ years of maintenance technician experience required Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work at heights, including on the roof and scissor lift Capable of working in confined spaces Occasionally lift up to 100lbs chest high Training and Testing: Hilo license training and test with a minimum passing score of 70% Operating slings, hoists, and crane training, and test with a minimum passing score of 70% Why Peoplelink?
