York Automotive Group is seeking a results-driven Service Manager to lead the Service Department of our York Ford of Brazil location with a focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, employee development, and profitability. The Service Manager is responsible for driving performance standards, enforcing service processes, and developing a high-performing team. Competitive compensation package Paid Training, Vacation Time, 401(k) with a generous company match, and competitive benefits package Paid weekly Leadership & Accountability Responsibilities Enforce dealership service processes and operational standards consistently. Hold Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff accountable to performance expectations. Monitor and address compliance with repair order documentation standards. Oversee daily production, workflow efficiency, and quality control processes. Address performance deficiencies promptly through coaching and corrective action when necessary. Maintain discipline and consistency in execution of dealership policies. Perform other responsibilities and duties that may not appear in this description. Training & Development Standards Develop and implement structured training plans for all service team members. Ensure technicians maintain required OEM certifications and ASE credentials. Provide regular coaching sessions for Service Advisors on communication and sales effectiveness. Conduct performance reviews with measurable goals and documented improvement plans. Promote internal advancement through mentorship and skill development. Track and enforce completion of required manufacturer and dealership training programs. Operational Responsibilities Drive gross profit, effective labor rate, and productivity benchmarks. Monitor technician efficiency and proficiency levels. Ensure consistent and accurate multipoint inspection processes. Maintain high CSI/NPS performance standards. Control departmental expenses and maintain budget targets. Collaborate with Parts and Body Shop departments to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of automotive service management experience preferred. Ford experience is required. Strong leadership and team development skills. Demonstrated ability to drive departmental profitability. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
