SPEECH THERAPIST - PRN

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating each patient (pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) assigned to them, determine short-term and long-term goals in conjunction with the patient and other team members when appropriate, develop and implement a comprehensive treatment program to meet these goals with direct supervision as needed for new graduates, and perform these tasks in a timely, effective manner that corresponds to the productivity standards for the department. Additional responsibilities will include administrative assignments as assigned. Speech-Language Pathologists will adhere to all state and federal regulations that apply to the practice of speech-language pathology. QualificationsEducation • Graduated from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology preferred Licensure/Certification • Current or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia, and Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. • BLS CPR Certification • Membership in professional organization is preferred Experience • Two years of clinical experience is preferred, but not required.
