Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: Perform troubleshooting, maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance for all equipment and facilities. Assist the production supervisor as needed. Maintain work areas and the maintenance shop area in a neat and organized manner. Knowledge | Experience | Skills: High school diploma or GED. Must possess mechanical aptitude. Ability to learn extrusion and pelletizing equipment, assembly processes, auxiliary equipment, air and hydraulic processes. Enrolled in or completion of maintenance apprenticeship program a plus. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer experience. Certification in Lock out tag out training. Basic electrical knowledge needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Maintains the facility and equipment through preventative maintenance program. • Troubleshoot/repair equipment as assigned. • Perform facility repairs as assigned. • Maintain the maintenance shop in a clean and organized manner. • Assist the production supervisor as needed. • Install/transfer equipment. • Complete work orders as required. • Follow all safety guidelines. • Complete all scheduled/required training. #INDHP Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
