Landscape Construction Estimator

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Landscaping Estimator in Lemont, IL to work directly with a well-established commercial landscaping company that specializes in landscape design, construction, and management services. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for landscaping projects, including reviewing project plans, conducting site visits, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all estimates align with client expectations and company profitability goals. Duties: -Read and understand Project Drawings, Details, and Specifications -Ability to manage & complete bid processes, seeing the proposal process from start to finish -Perform quantity take-offs on our Take -Off Program (eTakeoff) -Input take-offs into our estimating program and manage pricing as directed to create bids -Manage subcontractor quotes and contracts -Work with General Contractor’s and performing scope reviews -Communicate with General Contractors for RFI’s, Schedules, and winning project -Inputting new/updated unit pricing into our estimating system -Update and clean up eTakeoff and Sage Estimating programs Compensation: -Annual salary between $85,000 - $105,000 -PTO -Paid vacation -M/D/V insurance -401(k) Apply now! Qualifications: -2-5 years of experience in construction estimating -Experience working in landscape construction is a plus -Must be decisive and work well under pressure -Strong ability to concurrently manage multiple construction projects across various markets -General understanding of civil, architectural, and other construction drawings is required -Familiarity with computers and software programs for job costing, online collaboration, scheduling, and estimating is required (MS Office, MS Project, Adobe, Sage, eTakeoff, Bluebeam). -Strong negotiation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills required Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
