(Position located in Dallas / FT. Worth) Our client is in need of a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager with a strong background in water, wastewater, drainage, and municipal infrastructure to support projects throughout the Dallas / FT Worth area. This is an in-house role with a hybrid schedule that offers long-term stability and the opportunity to lead high-impact public-sector work. The position offers a base salary starting at $100,000, depending on experience. In this role, the Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager will be responsible for managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning and modeling through design, construction, and closeout. The work includes overseeing hydraulic and system modeling efforts, supporting master planning and capital improvement programs, and leading projects involving transmission lines, lift stations, force mains, detention facilities, groundwater systems, and drainage improvements. The engineer will prepare and review technical reports, engineering studies, cost estimates, and construction documents while coordinating closely with municipalities, utility districts, regulatory agencies, and internal project teams. The position requires direct involvement in project management, including managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables, providing quality control and constructability reviews, and supervising engineers, designers, and subconsultants. Construction-phase support is also a key component of the role, including reviewing submittals and RFIs, participating in site visits and inspections, and assisting through project closeout. The role may also support proposal development, scopes of work, and client presentations as needed. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and be licensed as a Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure is required. A Master's degree is considered a plus but is not mandatory. The ideal candidate brings strong communication and leadership skills, experience working with public-sector clients, and the ability to collaborate in an in-house environment while maintaining technical involvement and project oversight.
