Responsibilities Work in a technologically advanced cardiac catheterization laboratory Assist with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring invasive cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures Shift options include 4x10-hour or 3x12-hour day/evening shifts, scheduled between 6:30 and 19:00 On-call responsibilities include approximately one night per week and every third weekend Opportunities to cross-train in pediatric and adult congenital invasive cardiology procedures Travelers may float between multiple units or locations within the organization as staffing needs dictate Patient population includes both adult and pediatric cardiac cases Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the primary work site Be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on interventional cardiovascular care Primary responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures Opportunities for cross-training in both pediatric and adult congenital programs are available Travelers are first to float if needed based on staffing requirements Parking permit required for on-site parking; alternative transportation options are available Requirements Minimum of two years of Cardiovascular Technologist experience in a cardiac catheterization lab required Strong electrophysiology (EP) and EP ablation experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required through American Heart Association only RCIS certification required; if a recent graduate, license or certification by an appropriate credentialing program is preferred Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) Technologist training program required or equivalent experience Basic arrhythmia interpretation experience required Must pass a Telemetry test before starting the assignment License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-670787.
