Quality inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector/Production Expeditor to join our fast-paced manufacturing team, offering a pay range of $16-$24 hourly. In this dual-role position, you will perform dimensional and visual inspections using tools such as CMMs, calipers, and micrometers to ensure products meet engineering drawings and ISO standards. Beyond technical inspections and weld assessments, you will act as a vital link in our production process by tracking work orders across the floor and reporting progress to the Production Manager. The ideal candidate possesses a high school diploma or GED, strong shop math skills, and the ability to interpret complex blueprints in a small business fabrication environment. salary: $16 - $24 per hour shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Proficient with CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and weld inspection Ability to interpret engineering drawings, perform First Article Reports, and maintain ISO traceability Track work order movement and report progress to the Production Manager Previous fabrication shop experience preferred Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40lbs frequently The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 40lbs standing for 8 hours at one time Skills First Yield Pass (2 years of experience is required) Product Inspection Testing Quality Assurance Monitoring Blueprint Reading (2 years of experience is required) Qualifications Years of experience: 2 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
